OUR PROGRAMS
Operation Big Serve provides services directly to people in need through the following programs:
FRESH START PROGRAM
Clients referred by the Veterans Affairs peer support receive furnishings and household items to help with transitioning from homelessness into housing.
MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
When Available Used medical equipment for veterans who are unable to acquire them through their insurance.
PAST TO PROMISE COMMUNITY CENTER
The Community Center is planned to be coming soon and will be a “drop-in” homeless day center that meets the immediate needs of guests with food, clothing, hygiene items, and a place to rest.
PROMISE HOUSE - MESA
Promise House is a Faith based discipleship program provided to those that want to move a better direction in life. It offers a tiered program to assist in the recovery and teaching needed to manage the struggles in life while assisting in Christian growth thru a New Creations discipleship program.
HOMELESS MEALS
We provide meals to the homeless and those in need daily at our Blessings Boutique and thrift location. A Food Pantry provides shelf-stable food items that are easy to open and carry in a bag.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY
A Christ – centered recovery program for those struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind.
JOB TRAINING
Job training where clients get customer service and management experience to put on their resumes provided thru Blessings Boutique and thrift
MENTORING
Participants are paired with a volunteer for one-on-one support to identify and harness their strengths, skills and support systems.
FURNITURE REHAB
Transitional veterans and the homeless receive training in re-purposing and refinishing furniture for our Blessings Boutique and thrift – this store offers higher-quality used furniture and household items.
